NOAA: Up to 6-12″ of Snow Forecast for California This Weekend

Today’s forecast if for 71ºF at the base of Squaw.
This weekend, however, may be VERY different…
"Snow could be rather impactful on Saturday as snow levels drop below 7000 feet in the area of precipitation, perhaps as low as 6000 feet. This could lead to several inches of accumulation above 7000 feet, 6-12 inches is not out of the question above 8000 feet in the Sierra. Those with travel and/or outdoor plans will want to keep an eye on the forecast and consider alternate plans." - NOAA Reno, NV today Courtesy for Snow Brains.
