Rethinking Comfort: Hottest Zipcodes in 2020
This year we were reminded that nothing is guaranteed. We never know what may lie around the corner, and preparing for the unknown has emerged into common practice. That may be why this year’s housing market hotspots have transformed to favor spaciousness and affordability.
This list was created by the Realtor.com team. They started by analyzing zip codes in the 300 largest metro areas in the US from April to June and then ranked them based upon which areas saw the most page views and had the fewest days on the market.
These zip codes all lean away from urban centers, and reach closer to rural or suburban havens. Many American families, homebuyers especially, have come to place a new value on the safety and comfortability of their homes, as we have all spent so much time occupying our residences.
How have you considered adjusting your home life? Perhaps a move is in store. As many know, the housing market Truckee/Tahoe area, a remote ski town, has blown up these past few months, too. Don’t forget, if you’re not in love with your space and location, nothing is permanent. Keep an eye out for your chance to find your dream home!
“The hottest ZIP codes in the U.S. this year, according to an analysis by realtor.com, are in less populous, less expensive areas where people can social distance with ease and not worry about breaking the bank if their jobs become less secure during a time of widespread economic uncertainty.”
